Artist's Description

This Polar Bear became very famous for about an hour when the entire ship, Akademik Ioffe, went to photograph him. First time ever I see a wild Polar Bear!
He could not smell us as we approached him upwind, he could only see us, and was not intimidated what so ever.
He went on with his business, which where sleeping, resting and chasing a few gulls. The High Arctic - Northwest Passage, Canada. Published here: http://goo.gl/Gijk3x and Here: http://goo.gl/To71Ed

About Nina Stavlund

Nina Stavlund

Greetings and welcome to my Fine Art Corner! My name is Nina. My home country is Norway, but currently, I live in Ottawa, Ontario Canada, since 2010. I'm a professional photographer, graduated from 'Bilder Nordic School of Photography' in Oslo, Norway. I love all aspects of photography but have been focused mostly on nature & wildlife in the last 10 years. I love working with something I call PhotoArt. This is creative work, which very often includes photo manipulation. Some of my work can be adjusted upon request, with changed backgrounds, colours or format. Please feel free to contact me if you would like a customized job. Please be informed that the "Fine Art America" watermark on the images displayed here will not appear...
